Backups are very important

At Stedman Computer Solutions we like the power of three when it comes to backups. Local, external hard drive/network attached storage and cloud. Having your data on your network is much quicker for recovery than the cloud. Especially if we're talking terabytes of data it can take weeks for your data to download back to your system.

The other option is local, cloud and cloud. This will keep you covered in the event of a disaster. These days we recommend putting things into different cloud services on the off chance they go out of business or have an issue themselves. If it’s not backed up there is a good chance you’ll lose your data.
